Tasty Tuesday is a promotion sponsored by 435 South Magazine in Kansas City, Kan. Every Tuesday, a Kansas City restaurant offers a “Tasty Tuesday” special for $4.35. 435 South Magazine approached me about doing a full-page magazine advertisement, which I was happy to create.

This advertisement features an original pencil drawing of my friend Marina getting ready to dig into a salad. The back is a striking, distressed yellow and gray color, which complements her green eyes, green shirt, and green salad. The headlines are hard to miss in a grungy, fun font.
